So true....that can join my quote of the month! xo.
I love quotes. I'm not often great with words. So finding this wonderful group of words that perfectly puts my thoughts into words makes my day.
I start each of my posts with a new quote and half the fun is doing the research finding the perfect quote for my thoughts that day.

So true and yet so sad!! I can't imagine going through life not loving anyone or ever putting myself out there.
I went out on an enormous limb with my husband--Thank God everyday that I did (it was totally out of character for me). I know we would not be here if I hadn't!!!!
Love that quote, so true!
Great quote. I guess it's just a prettier way of saying "Hey! Put yourself out there! The risk of getting hurt is worth it!" Easier said than done sometimes, huh?
P.S. I'm sooo glad that you recommended The Secret Life of Bees because I absolutely loved it. The whole book just flowed like a poem. I just picked up and started The Help which seems to be similarly themed.
I love having blogging friends on the other side of the world! I really should get my butt out to Australia someday and visit my grandparents. =/
They live in NSW. My step grandmother has lived there all her life and my grandfather was over there with the military. He met her, divorced my grandmother via mail, married her and never moved back. (nice huh?) They've been out here to stay with us twice in the past and those were the only 2 times I've seen them.
