I know I suck

I haven't been updating.
I fail at ICLW.
I am just not feeling very....
I dunno.. There is just something thats off.
I will be back to life before I know it.
The fight with dad really threw me for a six.
On saturday morning he appolgised realising he'd taken it to far.
But it all feels to late.
It feels like he doesn't want, or need me in his life.
That is the worst feeling.
Knowing I've lost one parent, and I'm loosing the other.

I need everything to pick up a bit.

Caragh..Am so sorry that you are in such a funk right now...I read your previous post, and I am not sure why your Dad behaved the way he did, but it is not alright...he is expected to be the grown-up in the house, and yet he was totally not in control of himself.

You have to make him see a therapist or somebody who can help him.

When a parent doesn't want a child in their life, the child is better off without the parent. It will hurt for a time. But it's better that way, trust me. Speaking from experience.

Man that sucks. I read the previous post too. Wonder why he flipped like that. Anyway i hope you are feeling better soon.

My Oma died in December of 2005 from a rare stomach cancer too. My mom was also diagnosed with breast cancer back in 1993 but beat it. Weird, (not weird, but u know what I mean) coincidences for us to have huh? Feel better soon girl. - ICLW

I'm sorry, sweetie. Don't blame this on yourself, your dad may just being going through a rough patch and is just looking for someone to take it out on. It's still not right he's taking it out on you, but hopefully he'll come around. ((HUGS))

I don't blame you for being in a funk, when someone says stuff like that, even if they don't really mean it, they meant it at the time, and words like that - even if untrue - sting like nothing else.

I'm really sorry about the fight with your dad. Although, I disagree that you're not strong, becuase you are. Just becuase you had a moment where everything got to you and you may have reacted, doesn't mean you are not strong. You ARE strong!

I'm sorry all of this is coming at you. I hope your father realizes how important you are to him. I hope YOU realize how important you are in everyone's life.
