The king of pop has died.
As soon as I heard the news, I hoped with all my heart that it wasn't true.
He was too young to die.
He has young children who love and needed him.

Typically the jokes around my office have already started.

Does anyone realise his body would still be warm?
FUCK too soon.

Farrah Fawcett has also lost long her long battle with cancer.
She was a true icon, and seemed to be a beautiful person.

Although I know it would happen, I hope the media will realise that these are REAL people, with real families who have just lost loved ones.
And leaves them the hell alone.

One can only hope.

I know, I hate the way these people who pass are all but exploited on TV the next second. It's got to be just that much harder for their families.

well there are no Fucktards making jokes in my office about MJ or Farrah. We all grew up with both of them and we're all feeling very sad :o(

I still can't believe it... MJ was my first celebrity crush (and truth be told I've always had just a teeny corner of my heart for him).

It's a sad day.

I was so shocked when I heard about Michael Jackson. I remember watching the Thriller video OVER AND OVER again as a kid. The music and dance world would not be the same without his influence.

Thank you for acknowledging this loss.

I agree that people should have a little respect. MJ was an amazing artist and he was a real person with a real family. I feel so awful for his babies.

Now that Billy Mays is dead, maybe MJ's family will get a little reprieve? (probably not)
